Garmin Foot Pod

This is the accessory you need to get your Garmin FR60 to track the distance you run, walk, or hike. Or you can sync it with the Forerunner 310XT to track indoor workouts. You either attach it to your shoelaces or, if you have the right shoes, you can tuck it into the mid-sole pocket. This isn't your basic foot pod. It uses a MEMS (micro electro-mechanical systems) inertial-sensor to determine your stride length and adjust as your stride changes. The whole thing is about the size of a quarter and has a tiny cantilever beam with a seismic mass inside. The mass moves when the pod moves and the deflection is measured. In other words, it's a tiny accelerometer that's 98% accurate. The sensor also measures and transmits running cadence to figure out your speed and optimize your running. The Garmin Foot Pod comes with the cradle that attaches it to shoelaces. The claimed weight is 10g.  More Info

Garmin Edge 25 Bike Computer

Garmin is touting the Edge 25 Bike Computer as the smallest GPS-compatible bike computer on the market. It's been preceded in this claim by a few other manufacturers, but Garmin's Edge 25 outshines them because of what it's built on: the legacy of the larger, more expensive Edge 520. The Edge 25 is the ultimate utilitarian expression of the feature-laden 520, dropping in price and -- more importantly -- grams, making it ideal for the competitive cyclist who's training on a budget. The simple, monochromatic, 2. 3cm2 screen embodies the Edge 25's utilitarian focus, forgoing the colorful pomp of the brightly colored screens on Garmin's large models in favor of displaying only the most important metrics and training data in the simplest, most accessible manner possible. It doesn't track the proximity of cupcake food trucks or plan petting zoo detours during training rides, but it does display a simple map with notifications directing the user through a preplanned workout or documenting the...  More Info

Garmin Edge 130 Bike Computer

The Garmin Edge 130 Bike Computer gives cyclists a streamlined, easy to use interface with a slew of sophisticated features for getting faster and pushing farther. The simplified 1. 8-inch display remains easy to read in bright lighting, so you won't be struggling to view key stats, information, or maps when it's sunny outside. Bluetooth Low Energy communicates with most smartphones, Garmin's Cadence and Speed Sensor (sold separately), as well as Bluetooth-compatible power meters, but without draining your battery prematurely. GPS, GLONASS, and Galileo tracking quickly lock onto satellites, allowing you to find your location and start tracking your ride the minute you step outside and begin pedaling. GPS tracking provides an accurate assessment of distance and duration, with the ability to pair it with Garmin's Speed and Cadence sensor for additional cycling stats. Turn-by-turn navigation means you won't have to worry about getting lost on a far-flung ride into the hills above town or ...  More Info

Garmin Oregon 750

Getting from point A to B is always harder than it looks on a map. The Garmin Oregon 750 takes the guesswork out of route finding through GPS/GLONASS satellite reception, so you're always certain of your location when you're backpacking, hiking, cycling, or driving across the country. Garmin pulled all the stops with the Oregon 750 by incorporating Wi-Fi connectivity, active weather support, and a built-in camera that automatically geotags photos. Garmin Varia Bike Lights Bundle

Garmin wouldn't just make a bike light. Not its style. What it would do, though, is create a GPS-powered, highly technical, completely revolutionary illumination system like the Varia Bike Light Bundle. Paired with a compatible Garmin Edge computer, the beams of the Varia are actually controlled by incoming GPS data in real time, so you always have exactly the illumination that's most helpful for the situation. In the front, for instance, the beam extends farther in front when you ride faster, and comes closer when you slow down. At dawn and dusk, there's an automatic high-beam cutoff so you don't blind oncoming drivers and cyclists, because a blinded driver is a driver that's more likely to run into you. Garmin's data showed that 40% of cycling accidents happen when the rider is hit from behind, so it gave the rear light even more functionality. When you start slowing down, it increases in brightness, just like a car's brake lights. You can also mount two tail lights together and use ...  More Info

Garmin Edge 25 Bundle Bike Computer

Garmin's latest entry in the GPS/GLONASS bike computer field is a minimalistic one. We're used to the Kansas-based manufacturer's GPS units overflowing with so many interactive features and modes that even we get overwhelmed. The Edge 25 Bundle Bike Computer takes the company's legacy in a different direction, one that favors minimalist functionality over flashy, overly complicated interfaces. The Edge 25 Bundle is a story of less -- less price, less weight, less fuss -- with one key addition: a Garmin cadence sensor. As precise as GPS has become, it still can't accurately measure pedal stroke RPM, a gap that the zip tie-free sensor fills while the Edge 25 directs you to new horizons of fitness. The Edge 25 tracks cadence, speed, and trip information on a simple, monochromatic, 2. 3cm2 display, forgoing the colorful pomp of the brightly colored screens on Garmin's large models in favor of only the most important metrics and training data laid-out in the simplest, most accessible manner...  More Info
